Today is Father’s Day, and you know what that means: It’s
time to
really pull out all the stops
to show Dad that you’re still his best girl. Here are ten quick ways to get the
point across in a snap.
Make his favorite
breakfast and serve it up casually, like it’s no big deal that you’ve been
cracking eggs all morning for one perf omelet. ‘Cause ya know what? He deserves
it.
Ask him a Q. As
girls grow up, they depend less on Dad for answers and more on Mom. So throw
your old man a bone and ask him for some advice. He’ll be thrilled to hear that
you really want his opinion.
Just hang out.
You’re not a baseball person and he’s marathoning games? Suck it up and deal, ‘cause
today’s his day. Whatever Dad wants to do, go along with it. He’ll love the QT.
Show off. No, not
in a braggy way, but if you did really good on a final exam or you just painted
a masterpiece, make him the first one you tell.
Text it. Not
around your dad 24/7 today? That’s OK. Give him a call or send a text just to
say hi.
Pull out the pics. Parents
love remembering the good ol’ times—i.e. when you were doing embarrassing things
in diapers. Grab the family photo albums and ask Dad to tell ya what happened
when.
Noted. Jot a few
quick notes or doodles on post-its and stick ‘em in random places where he’ll
discover them today, tomorrow or next Tuesday. Sweet reminders that he’s
totally tops are guaranteed to make him smile.
Tell him ya love him.
Go ahead, get mushy.

celebrate Father’s Day? Tell us in the comments!
