I cheated on my BF. I don't know what to do and I love him. I'm am soooo sorry. Please help.
Hey girl! That’s a tough one. Cheating is always
super hard on both ends of any relationship. The first step is to
confess. Yes, I know you might not have wanted to hear that, but telling
the truth is the best way to go. He’ll be upset
and that’s nothing you can avoid, but deep down he has to appreciate
your honesty. Apologizing is a given, and you need to make sure he knows
how much you care about him. Whatever you do, DON’T get into details.
This will give your BF a clearer image of you
with another guy and will only make him angrier.
You have to realize that he may not forgive you—and
you’ll have to accept that. Give him time (and space!) to figure out
his feelings on the situation. If you two are meant to be, hopefully
he’ll realize that and find a way to forgive you.
If he can’t let it go, find a way to be friends. Most likely he won’t
hold a grudge forever and you two can eventually have a normal, friendly
relationship.
