Hey hunnies! Here’s an original poem
written by GL reader Maryam D., who is 14 years old. Take a peek, then tell us
what you think in the comments.
“Pain
Fade Away”
Can't they see she's on the ground,
On the edge of breaking down
And she wishes her world would just end right now.
But still something she can't define urges her on.
"Everything is going to be OK starting from today," she'd tell
herself
Even though her gut says something else.
A pained expression masking her face.
But all she has left now is to pray,
Pray to find a way,
For the pain to fade away
After all the pain has passed she still will remain
Because she is strong like that,
And she has learned how to deal with the pain.
