Ever
wonder how celebs get that fab red carpet volume? Follow these easy steps and
you’ll look have star-quality hair for your next big school dance!
Step 1: Draw a line with your fingers from the front
of your ears to the top of your head.
Clip all of the hair in front of that line together. You’ll be saving it for later.
Step 2: Brush out all of the hair behind that line so
it’s easy to handle. Once it’s brushed out, grab a one-inch section and stand
it straight up. Spray it with some
major-hold hairspray.
Step 3: At the back of that section, place the brush
about halfway between the end of your hair and your scalp and pull the brush
down towards your scalp (the opposite way you’d usually comb your hair). Repeat
3 or 4 times. It’s going to look messy, but you’ll cover it up with the hair
from the front of your head.
Step 4: Repeat the same process with 5-7 more
one-inch sections evenly spaced around your head.
Step 5: Carefully comb back the hair you clipped up
earlier on top of your teased up bouffant, being careful not to brush too
hard—you don’t want to flatten out all of that awesome volume!
