Fall movie nights got you craving salty, crunchy snacks?
Don’t be tempted by greasy potato chips. Instead, master your munchies and feel
good about your eats with these delicious, oven-baked kale chips.
Did you know?
Kale is a superfood veggie with detoxing properties. It’s
packed with vitamins A, C and K, plus manganese, calcium, potassium, iron and plenty
of fiber. It contains lots of antioxidants, which will help your bod stay
healthy as stress and cool weather takes its toll. Studies have also shown that
kale wards off certain types of cancer.
Ingredients
Washed kale leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil
Sea salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 300oF. Grab about two large handfuls
of washed kale leaves and pat them dry with a paper towel. Put the dry leaves
into a bowl and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss until each leaf is
evenly coated, then place on a cookie sheet covered in aluminum foil. Make sure
that none are overlapping. Lightly sprinkle with sea salt and place in the oven
for 20 to 30 minutes or until dark green and crispy. Enjoy!
