When a guy says he wants
to be friends after he breaks up with you, does he mean it?
Depends.
If he is a solid, genuine guy who treated you with kindness and respect throughout
your relationship, you can believe him when he says he wants to stay tight. But
if your BF was somewhat of a jerk who often lied, he’s likely giving you the
ol’ “let’s be friends” line when it’s the last thing he wants.
