A new study
suggests that posting a status on Facebook—even if no one likes or comments on it—can make you feel less lonely.
Turns out Facebook isn’t all about showing off (and the inevitable FOMO anxiety).
So go ahead, girlies, get connected! While social media doesn’t offer a cure for chronic depression or other serious problems, it can make you feel temporarily more connected to the world around you—perfect for when your bestie moves halfway across the country…or, you know, you’ve been stuck inside all day with the flu.
