Fashion Week beauty flash: Kaelen's glossy-matte mani

If you’ve been living under a rock since Thursday, it’s #NYFW! Yesterday’s grunge-chic Kaelen show sent out the best mani we’ve seen so far: A little bit matte, a little bit glossy and a whole bunch awesome. Models sported a neo-French tip, revamped with short, black nails, and it was fantastic.

Katie Hughes, butter LONDON’s Global Colour Ambassador, created the nail look for 's F/W 2013 Collection and shared the scoop:

Step 1: Apply butter LONDON Nail Foundation Flawless Base Coat all over nails and let dry.

Step 2: Apply 2 coats of butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Union Jack Black over all nails. Let dry.

Step 3: Apply butter LONDON Matte Finish Top Coat.

Step 4: Swipe butter LONDON P.D. Quick Top Coat across the tips of the nails to create a glossy French tip finish.
