New beauty trends and challenges pop up everyday on YouTube. From the glitter freckles trend to the full-face-of-highlight challenge, these challenges keep getting crazier and crazier. Most recently, one challenge in particular has gone viral: the 100 layers challenge. This challenge was created by the YouTuber Simply Nailogical, who applied 100 layers of nail polish just to find out what it looks like (it actually turned out pretty cool!). Once that video gained popularity, similar ones started popping up. Here are a few of our faves.

1. 100 Layers of Nail Polish by Cristine Rotenberg

Are nail polish mountains possible? Oh yes, and Cristine found that out when she recreated Simply Nailogical's vid. While this style isn't exactly practical, each nail is oddly satisfying to look at with all the fun colors.

2. 100 Layers of Liquid Lipstick by Joey Graceffa

Liquid lipstick is a beauty item favored by many, so Joey decided to create a subtle, everyday look using the popular product—uh, just kidding! He did, however, pack on 100 layers of liquid lipstick using various colors of the infamous Kylie Lip Kit and things got a little gross.

3. 100 Layers of Eyebrows by Adelaine Morin

So these aren't *quite* Cara Delevingne's statement brows, but they certainly are...somethin'.

4. 100 Coats of Mascara by Nicole Skyes

It's *so* entertaining to watch Nicole take the spider-lashes trend to a new level, even if we did spend the entire video praying to the eyelash gods that her lovely lashes don't fall off...

5. 100 Layers of Makeup by Jenna Marbles

Jenna does it *all* with this video. She applied 100 layers of foundation, lipstick, hair spray, fake tan and even fake eyelashes all the while making us laugh with her hilarious comments. It took her a total of eight hours to complete this, so if we were to vote, she'd totally win the challenge.

6. 100 Layers of Clothing by Evelina Barry

Not exactly beauty, but this video is a must-see. Evelina takes on this challenge with 100 layers of clothing and even though she didn’t necessarily complete the challenge, she gave it a valiant effort which we def approve of.
