Day 1 of Election-centric nails: Political polka dots

Chicas, Election Day is right around the corner. Although you might not be able to vote, you can still show your support with these cute, patriotic nails!

 

Today marks the first day of Election-centric nails! Each day we’re firing up our political spirit with a new nail art that shows your patriotic pride. Break out the red, white and blue!

 

Political Polka Dots

Show your support with a classic pattern, like these presh polka dots.

 

What you’ll need:

Red nail polish

Blue nail polish

White nail polish

Clear nail polish

Toothpicks

Hair dryer (optional, used at a low setting to speed up the drying process)

 

What you’ll do:

1. Paint every other nail red.

2. Paint the rest of your nails blue.

3. Using a toothpick, dab on bitty dots on each nail to create polka dots.

4. Finish with a quick coat of clear nail polish, and let dry.
