4 steps to perfectly thick 'n' long lashes

Sure, we all love applying mascara and lash curlers and even falsies from time to time to make our fringe look fluffier. But the real secrets to getting longer lashes? A little TLC. We’re showin’ you our tricks to keep your lashes looking fantastic 24/7.

#1. Be uber gentle

If you’re one of those beauty babes who adores curling her lashes and applying mascara and liner, be super gentle. The skin around your eyelashes is totally delicate and tears easily not to mention your lashes aren’t something to treat roughly! Don’t pull at your lids when applying makeup or pick individual lashes to remove clumps (you’ll run the risk of pulling out the follicle…yikes!).

#2. Remove all makeup at night

Okay dolls, we get that this sounds obvious, but we don’t just mean splash a li’l bit of H2O on your lids and hope for the best…we are talking makeup removing pads to really wipe away all the guck that clogs your natural lashes. Don’t have the green to load up on face wipes? Try jojoba oil or wet a cotton ball under warm water for a few secs and press on your lids (gently!) for 10-15 seconds to dissolve mascara smoothly and softly.

#3. Eat oh-so-well

It’s not rocket science…eat well and your body will look better! By eating healthy foods like fruits, veggies and drinking tonsa waters your lashes will keep healthy and hydrated (score!). Bottom line? Keep it locked on the greens and good stuff like vitamins and your lashes will look 10x hotter.

#4. Condition for best results

Just like how conditioning your hair makes it glossy, soft and bouncy, conditioning your lashes is also a must. Apply a thin layer of Vaseline to a clean mascara wand and brush it on lashes once a week before bed. This super easy treatment will give your lashes that dark, long look all girls lust after.

Follow these easy tips and you’ll have stunning lashes day in and day out. Don’t forget to leave a comment below to let GL know the lash care tips you totally swear by!
