Easy home remedies for blackheads

There’s nothing worse than breakouts that happen deep beneath your skin. Blackheads are dark, hard to get to, and even though they’re tiny, you feel like everyone’s staring at them! Well, don’t trip; here are 3 ways to beat blackheads at home.

Lemon and honey

Turns out your favorite tea ingredients double as a face cleanser! Slice a lemon in half and squeeze a bit of honey on top. Massage the lemon and honey onto blackheads and let it sit for 4-5 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

Toothbrush Method

The best way to get deep into those little pores is with a toothbrush. Just combine water and toothpaste in a dish and coat your bristles with the mixture. Finally, brush the concoction on to your wet face, and let the magic happen.

Baking Soda

Before your next shower, turn the temp all the way up before hopping in and let it run for a few minutes. Meanwhile, wash your face with your usual cleanser, then rinse and expose your skin to the steam filling the bathroom for about 3 minutes. This expands your pores, making it easier for dirt to release. Now that your pores are open, lightly apply a paste of baking soda and warm water.
