Look Fab, Do Good

This spring, use your threads to make a statement.

Right now, we’re diggin’ duds that make a diff. Whether it means packing up your old clothes and sending them to charity or sportin’ a tee that reps your cause, do-gooder fashion is an easy way to make a major impact on the world around us.

Keep reading to find some of our fave pieces, and then share how you get involved!

Send Away an Extra Tee
Got a good-as-new t-shirt tucked away in your drawer? Send it off (along with $1) to 1 Million Shirts. They’re sending the shirts to different countries in Africa, to help people in need—pretty sweet, right? Make a bigger impact by spreading the word to your crew…and your entire school.

Take a Step Toward Helping Women in Uganda
When the girls at 31 Bits emailed us about their project, we were floored. They work with women in war-torn Uganda, who are crafting gorgeous beaded jewelry, and helping them raise money for their community. This year Reef bought tons of the pretty beads and plastered them all over the h-o-t sandal they’re calling the “Ugandal.” Love it!

Buy a Shoe, Give a Shoe
TOMS are a celeb fave—and for good reason. They donate one pair of shoes for every pair purchased. The plain ones are cool, but there are loads of killer designs and plaids to choose from, too.

Help Plant Trees in the Rainforest…
…and make your own wishes come true. Bright Brazilets are fun for summer months (instant color!), and the company donates 20% of the proceeds to Plant a Billion Trees.
