BTS shopping tips for plus size and curvy girls

A lot of curvy chicks know the all-too-familiar disappointment of walking into a cute store and finding a lot of the fab finds just won’t fit. It can be a total bummer even for the most confident curvy gal. Here are some of our fave stores that carry adorable plus sizes, so you can stroll the halls with some serious style.
Torrid
While it can be a tad pricey, the selection at Torrid is fabulous -- especially their sales! The best part? Their shoes are all in wide widths and their boots have more room in the calf.

Style tip: This sweet dress has an all-over print that looks great on girls with curves. The ruffled neckline and whittled waist details are so figure-flattering!

Forever 21 Plus Sizes

Oh, how we wish that F21 carried their plus size line in all of their stores. Thankfully, they boast an affordable and totally trendy collection on their website.

Style tip: To look long and lean, try a floor length cardi for instant lengthening. We absolutely love the fab tribal print dress paired with it.

Old Navy

Offering oodles of plus size outfits in stores, and even more online, Old Navy is the go-to place for discount divas. A quick 'n' easy scroll through the virtual sale rack makes shopping on a budget a breeze.

Style tip: This cute jacket with an asymmetrical button placket does wonders your torso. For a fall transition outfit, scrunch up the sleeves and pair it with a sundress. Once it gets cooler, wear it as the perfect topper to a jeans and a tee combo.

More stylish stores
If you're looking for other outfit options, Avenue and Lane Bryant offer surprisingly chic clothes specifically designed just for curvaceous chicas. Your fave retailers, like Delia's and American Eagle, are getting the hint and offering plus size options on the web. Their online stores go up to size 19 and 20, respectively, in jeans and 2XL in tops. If all else fails, the plus sections of department stores are your best bet to find your perfect fit.
