Ed. Obsession Under $30: Printed shorts

In theory, I love prints. Being able to mix and match prints shows you know how to dress, and in the mag, we employ that technique a lot (and implore you to do the same!). But IRL, you’ll rarely catch me in something printed. Stripes, sure. Sequins, of course. But I haven’t really found my print niche—till this season. The slew of tribal prints taking over stores this spring has me falling hard, and fast.

 

The first printed piece I’ll inject in my wardrobe? These tribal shorts from American Eagle. They’re your everyday twill shorties, with a quick hit of pattern. I love how these fun basics are still basic—you can rock ’em with your regular tees/button-downs/sweaters, and they’ll instantly make everything else you own look that much cooler. How rad is that?
