The British are coming! Rock an English tea party look

Ever wondered what it would be like to be English for a day? You could drink tea with Harry Styles, or maybe indulge in a few crumpets with Prince William (well, a girl can dream, can’t she?!).
June 2nd will mark the Queen of England’s Diamond Jubilee. This momentous occasion means that Queen Elizabeth II will have reigned the throne for 60 years. In celebration, street parties will take place all over the country. Brits will throw on their best frocks, wave Union Jack flags and feast with friends and family.
Sounds fun right? Well, we American girls are not ones to miss out on a good party. We’ll be joining in in spirit even if we can’t be there for real. Here are a few across the pond inspired items to help your inner royal princess shine through.

London calling

If you’re feeling bold, go for this Union Jack printed tee, it’s quirky with a punk rock edge.

Tea for two

Nothing says English royalty like a classic china tea cup. This bracelet is super cute and sophisticated too!

Strawberry fields

It’s a sure bet that there will be plenty of strawberries and cream enjoyed between friends across the pond this summer. This pretty picnic food looks even prettier on your shoes.

Floral frenzy

A sweet trend for young Brits this season is classy floral. Think the pretty flower print on porcelain tea cups splashed onto flowing white dresses. We love this tube dress: no strap lines after partying in the sun all day.

Ivory/Blue Floral Belted Dress, $45, windsorstore.com

English rose

These rose earrings are perfect for summer and look great teamed with a floral dress and an English scone in hand.
