How to look chic & comfy while traveling

Whether you’re flying all the way Europe for a school trip or driving to Wisconsin with the fam to visit Grandma, on-the-road fashion should not be overlooked. You want to feel totally comfortable (ugh, lots of sitting + unpredictable temperatures), but still look super cute no matter where vacation takes you. Here's our guide to looking fly on the go...

Maxi dresses are summer must, and everyone knows wearing one is basically like being in the most glam version of your PJs. Add some denim, flat sandals and a bright tote as your carry-on. Best to pack another maxi in your suitcase. This outfit is so adorable, you'll want to wear it again and again.

Black floral print slit chiffon long maxi dress, $30,

Aeropostale medium wash denim boyfriend jacket, $24,

Charlotte russe mint braided slingback thong sandals, $15,

Baggy BF jeans and a cute tee mean you can literally go anywhere. A girly backpack is perfect for stashing all your plane essentials and chunky jellies add a little edge. (Psst: it's tempting to travel in shorts in the summer, but it's better to for long pants while en route and change into shorts upon arrival. You don't want to stick to the seat of the car or get super icy on that plane.)

    Topshop striped crop tee, $26,

Lucluc lightwash blue ripped turn-ups jeans, $33,

Don’t be jelly chunky lug sandals, $13,

Unionbay burnout denim floral mini backpack (blue), $35,

A comfy chambray shirt, leggings, and bold flats are all pieces that can be mixed and matched over the course of your trip, and still remain classically cute. Toss it all over a striped tank, in case the AC dies out or it's super hot at your destination. A bold necklace adds just the right amount of sparkle.

Long Sleeve Battenburg Lace Woven Shirt, $28,

    AEO high rise legging, $12,

    Anna angie flat, $15,

    Crystal elsa bib, $20,

    Quilted faux leather tote, $20,
