Let's break down our fave Margot Robbie Barbie promo outfits

It really is Margot Robbie's world, and we're just living in it. While we've been (impatiently) waiting for the Barbie release, Margot Robbie has been feeding into our obsessions by serving looks in all her promo outfits for the movie.

Throughout the Vogue photo shoots, the press tour and the premiere, the Barbie actress fully embraces this universally beloved character through the expression of clothing. Across all platforms, there's been a common theme—the outfits all refer back to an original Barbie doll outfit throughout history. There are sooo many fab looks, but we've rounded up five of our favorites.

1. "Solo in the Spotlight" Barbie

@teenvogue

Margot Robbie shocked us all when she strutted down the pink carpet at the Barbie premiere. While we were expecting something bright and pink, she wowed us all by channeling the 1960s "Solo in the Spotlight" Barbie in an elegant black evening gown. From the pink handkerchief to the red rose, this vintage Barbie is certainly one of the rarer and more valuable dolls—and Margot Robbie embodied it perfectly.

2. First-ever Barbie

@vanityfair

Of course, it's only right to honor the first-ever Barbie from 1959. Inspired by the original doll with the classy striped swimsuit, Margot Robbie replicated this look with an elegant bodycon minidress during her promo tour in Sydney. Can we all agree that this look is *absolutely* gorgeous? She is beauty, she is grace.

3. President Barbie

@voguemagazine

Perhaps one of Barbie's most notable careers of all time is the president, so it was no surprise that Margot Robbie would tap into this side of Barbie. We are absolutely loving this entire look from the Vogue photoshoot. Everything from the iconic Barbie side part to the pink tweed skirt suit is exactly the type of perfection you'd find in Barbieland—we're convinced.

4. "Enchanted Evening" Barbie

@instylemagazine

Margot Robbie channeled the "Enchanted Evening" Barbie from the nineties for the U.K. premiere—and needless to say, we can't get enough of it. The opera gloves, satin, and pearls scream royalty Barbie. The hairdo is also such a refreshing look from Barbie's usual ponytail and side part. Brb, tapping into our inner royal persona.

5. "Totally Hair" Barbie

@andrewmukamal

Just like Barbie, there is so much variation throughout all of these promo outfits. This "Totally Hair" Barbie from 1992 is fun, loud, and exactly what we needed. Once again, the hair is giving. With those beachy waves, mini bag, and unique dress, Barbie's versatility truly shines through in this look.
