Watch: Harry Styles performed solo for the very first time last night--and he slayed!

Last night, Harry Styles did something *huge*: he performed his debut single, "Sign of the Times," live for the very first time.

Not only that, the singer debuted another track from his album, "Ever Since New York." TBH, we're still trying to recover from the amazingness of it all. He performed both songs on the late-night comedy show Saturday Night Live where he once performed with our fave, One Direction. We can only imagine how intimidating it was to take that stage as a solo artist, but he did *so* well.

He got in some laughs between songs, too, when he performed in a few of the show's sketches. In one he played his doppelganger and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and another he played a music-loving Civil War solider—so funny!

Check out "Sign of the Times" and "Ever Since New York" below:

It was announced on Thursday that Harry's debut album would be self-titled and is due for release on May 12. We're pumped!

Which new Harry song do you like better? Are you excited for this brand new era of Harry? Let us know in the comments!
