Friendship rules from the Frenemies cast

Are you ready for tomorrow night’s of Frenemies at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel? The flick centers on three intertwining stories, all dealing with friends who go from besties, to worsties, and then back to best buds again.

But don’t worry! No frenemies seem to be messing with Nick Robinson, Stefanie Scott, Mary Mouser, Bella Thorne or Zendaya. We got a chance to chat with the stars on the movie’s Toronto set, and had them spill the biggest friendship rules they swear by.

Rule #1: You’ve gotta have honesty. “It’s really important to have a comfortable, honest relationship. And always remember why you became friends in the first place.”—Nick Robinson

Rule #2: Rely on trust. “Trust that your best friend will be there for you through thick and thin.”—Bella Thorne

Rule #3: Never trust a blabbermouth. “Never keep a friend who’s two-faced, somebody you tell a secret to because you think they’re your best friend and then they go around telling everybody about it. I think that’s really sad and embarrassing.”—Stefanie Scott

Rule #4: Confront your probs. “Talk to them, not about them. There are so many rumors that ruin friendships. And it’s horrible because it can be something completely crazy. But the fact that you can just go to that person and talk to them, there’s always a chance you can fix it.”—Mary Mouser

Rule #5: Fight jealousy. “Everybody gets jealous of their best friend at some point. But you have to realize what great things you have in your life."—Zendaya

Why should you catch the premiere of Frenemies tomorrow night, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel. Bella Thorne and Zendaya have a special message for you below…
