If you didn't know that Michael Clifford and Abigail Breslin used to date, don't worry about it. The two kept it pretty quiet while they were together and even once they broke up – at least until Abigail released a blistering break up song that seems pretty clearly to be about Michael. Mikey held his tongue about the song when it came out in December, but after a fan brought it up on Twitter the other day, he finally spoke up.

After Abigail spoke out on Twitter about how we need to stop hating on each other, making fun of others and calling people names, a fan called her out about her song "You Suck" which doesn't exactly follow Abigail's message.

Abbie fired back calling "You Suck" a "joke song," but that was when Mikey couldn't hold it in any longer.

We're glad Mikey stood up for himself, but we also think Abbie's message about hate is super important. It's hard to always practice what we preach, but starting the conversation is a good first step. Now if only she could acknowledge how her song doesn't support her words, we'd be all good.
