Laura Marano's new flick Bad Hair Day will perfect your best girls' night

We’ll be the first to admit that we’ve had some pretty bad hair days in the past. From, “I guess I’m going to wear a hat today,” to, “I’m going to shave off all my hair,” we’ve experienced it all. But nothing matches up to what Feb/March 15 covergirl Laura Marano’s character Monica experiences in the new Disney Channel Original Movie Bad Hair Day. From the moment the movie starts, it’s evident that Monica has it all together for prom: the perfect dress, the perfect shoes, the perfect boyfriend and, of course, the perfect hair. But all of that changes when she wakes up the morning of the big day and everything goes from bad to worse.

When Monica gets out of bed and looks at herself in the mirror, she is greeted with the most horrifying hair we’ve ever seen. Her prom dress is melted, her shoes are broken and, on top of all that, there’s an FBI agent at her front door asking suspicious questions about a necklace Monica bought from a thrift store. Talk about the worst morning ever!

In an attempt to turn her day around, Monica decides to use her knowledge about the necklace to her advantage and has Agent Liz (Leigh-Allyn Baker) drive her all over town to try and fix everything in time. This unlikely duo causes some serious trouble throughout the day and, with a major turn of events, must work together in order to solve one of the biggest mysteries while still trying to make it to the prom.

This hilarious (and heartwarming) movie will have you go from busting a gut laughing too hard to tearing up in seconds. It is evident that Laura Marano and Leigh-Allyn Baker have an amazing bond both on- and off-screen and we’ll definitely go as far to say this is one of the best prom movies yet. So grab your girlfriends and throw a movie sleepover party to watch Bad Hair Day when it premieres tomorrow (2/13) on Disney Channel at 8:00 p.m. You seriously don’t want to miss this.
