Disney Channel is premiering the "What A Girl Is" music video this Sunday

On last week's Liv and Maddie, the girls at Ridgewood High were facing some serious controversy after the boys started rating them based on their looks. The guys' actions were totally hurtful and way uncool, but luckily the girls managed to stand up to them, especially after Liv wrote an inspiring girl power song about how you're perfect just as you are. The song was called "What A Girl Is" and it was majorly inspiring, but the track grew even bigger than just the one Liv and Maddie episode. In fact, L&M star Dove Cameron even recorded a professional track with Maker Studios' talent Christina Grimmie, Baby Kaely and MissRemiAshten, featuring Alex Aiono and Cody Wise in their music video.

With lyrics like, "I'm so over all of these voices around - they've said enough. It's my turn, let's get loud," Dove and her pals sing about embracing being you and being strong. We're loving the song and we think the message behind it is on point. Plus, Baby Kaely's rap section is pretty dope. Christina Grimmie already shared the music video on her YouTube channel, but this Sunday Disney Channel is featuring the video for its television premiere.

With a whole bunch of people tuning in to Disney channel every day, sharing this music video means sharing a great message with girls all over the world. Not only is the song great to sing and dance along to, but it's also super meaningful.

Did you love this song when it aired on Liv and Maddie last week? Will you tune in to Disney Channel at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday to watch the "What A Girl Is" video's TV premiere? Share your thoughts in the comments.
