Are we out of the woods? Tay's newest vid is finally here!

We all had our own fun plans for this past New Year's Eve, but Taylor Swift took hers to a new level and gave us what we’ve been waiting for—the official music video for her 1989 song, "Out of the Woods"!

Debuted on Dec. 31 during Dick Clark’s annual New Years Rockin’ Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the vid was filmed in New Zealand gets both emotional and inredibly artistic as it shows Tay running through a wooded area, snow and mud.

But it's not just video Taylor toughing the elements—our girl suffered through it IRL, too. Director of the music video, Joseph Kahn, tweeted that, while the rest of the crew was wrapped up in snow gear to keep warm, "Taylor chose to stay in the mud for hours to keep the shoot moving. No in and out. Just gangstered it."

This song is particularly personal for Tay, too. According to Examiner, Tay said in a Grammy Pro Listening Session that "Out of the Woods" "conjured up all these, like, feelings of anxiety that I had had in a relationship where everybody was watching, everybody was commenting on it."

Check out the video below.
