We're swooning over up-and-coming band Why Don't We's new music vid

New music alert, girls! Why Don't We's debut music video "Taking You" is a *must* see. The up-and-coming band is steady making a name for itself—their new track has garnered 38,000 streams so far since its release on Spotify last week and the music video for the song, released on Thursday, is climbing in views every minute.

Check it out for yourself below!

What's so great about it? "Taking You" enthralled us from the first guitar riff, and we stayed heart eyes right through its melodic outro. With its upbeat tune, smooth melody and catchy lyrics, it's nearly impossible not to replay. Not to mention, the music video features the quintet performing in front of adorable (and lucky) fans. It's clear these dudes are talented, and we're *so* excited to see the mark they make on the music world.

Obviously no one could fill the One Direction-sized hole in our hearts (*sniffles*) but these cuties are making a very good case for themselves. The band consists of  five well-accomplished boys. Separately, they have a lot of side projects, and they've come together to form Why Don't We. These busy boys are 17-year-old former American Idol contestant Daniel Seavey and 15-year-old Zach Herron, singer/songwriter of Why and Timelapse. There's also Marathons and The Only One singer/songwriter Corbyn Besson and Liar singer/songwriter Jack Avery, both 17. The oldest of the group is 18-year-old Jonah Marais, singer/songwriter of War Paint and I Meant It.
