American Idols New Host
American Idol’s traditional format is going to get a bit of an overhaul this year when a fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi, joins the ensemble. And no, none of the other judges are leaving. Rest assured there will still be plenty of Randy’s “dawg,” Paula’s crazy talk and Simon’s tell-it-like-it-is-but-meaner comments. Guess the powers-that-be are thinking that the show could use a jolt of fresh energy.
Kara’s a Grammy-nominated songwriter, having worked with some acts you just might have heard of. You know, the Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani and many more.
She’s already at work, having joined in on the New York auditions for the next season of the Fox show.
