Charli D'Amelio hit 100 million followers on TikTok! Here's what she's doing to celebrate

TikTok queen Charli D'Amelio hit a *huge* milestone Saturday, reaching 100 million followers on the app just over one year after rising to fame for her iconic dancing skills. Charli's huge following is truly record breaking—PewDiePie, the first YouTuber to gain over 100 million subscribers, took over 14 *years* to do so. That's almost Charli's entire lifetime!

Charli promised her fans a super exciting surprise at 100 million followers, and sis did not disapoint. In a TikTok posted just minutes after reaching nine figures she announced that 100 thousand dollars will be donated to the American Dance Movement, an organization dedicated to "improving and increasing access to dance education in the United States", on December 1st.

"If you know me you know that I have been dancing my entire life and I am so thankful to be able to give back to the community that made me who I am," she gushed. We absolutely *love* that Charli is using her platform to do good. That's what we call #girlpower, and we *can't* wait to see what cool things she does next.

Her collab with @TikTok and the American Dance Movement wasn't the only way that she celebrated 100 million. In a duet with @jalaiahharmon, creator of the renegade dance, Charli paid tribute to a classic.

The renegade was one Charli's two iconic throwback moments on Saturday—in a duet with @katiefeeneyy, she recreated her dance to Beggin that started it all.

This excitement comes after three days of *intense* drama surrounding a YouTube video posted to the family's channel titled "Dinner with the D'Amelios" featuring Chef Aaron May. The D'Amelio sisters recieved a huge amount of backlash from fans and fellow celebs alike for their allegedly bratty behavior and spoiled attitudes. Get the full story here.

Despite losing over one million followers due to the controversy, we totally admire Charli's ability to bounce back and stay positive. 100 million followers is a pretty iconic recovery, if you ask us—from here on out we will be referring to her exclusively as the *queen* of comebacks.
