Get to know star of the spooky thriller "Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour!" Don't forget to check out the flick, in theaters October 19th.

GL: Tell us a little bit about your new flick? About the character you play? Are you anything like your character in the movie? If not, how do you differ?

RISSA WALTERS: The character I play is a young girl who lives a normal high school life in San Diego. She learns about a small town's dark secret and her curiosity gets her in over her head. It's definitely a creepy and mysterious story, a great ghost story. I think I'm a lot like the character I play. I like to think I'm a down to earth girl too. And I'm definitely a curious person.

GL: Did you believe in ghosts or in the paranormal? If not, do you now?

RW: I'm not totally sure if I believe in ghosts or the paranormal, but after filming this movie I do find myself thinking about it more.

GL: Was it spooky at all filming such a suspenseful movie?

RW: It was definitely freaky at times. Especially the night shoots when we were filming in houses that were said to be haunted in real life.

sarahlandon2.jpgGL: What are you going to be this year for Halloween?

RW: I don't have my costume picked out yet but I will for sure be decorating the front yard with spooky stuff like I do every year with my mom. Then I'll probably be passing out candy to all the cute little kids on my street!

GL: This was your first movie. Tell us a little bit about your experience. Was it all the glitz and glam you hoped for? Any embarrassing onset moments?

RW: Ya, this was my first movie so it was definitely nerve recking. I got to see all the hard work that goes into all that "glitz and glam" that all the viewers see. The first few days were kinda embarrassing for me because if you mess up you have like 20 people watching you, but after a while I got used to it. It was a lot of fun!

GL: What's next for Rissa? What do your fans have to look forward to?

RW: Well I'm signed on to do two sequels as Sarah Landon. I can't wait to make another. Other than that, I'm going to college so I don't really have time to pursue other projects right now.

GL: What a typical day in the life of Rissa? What do you like to do when you're not filming away onset?

RW: A typical day for me is waking up early and going to class. When I'm done with class I work for a little bit and then head home to relax and make dinner with my boyfriend and roommate :)
