Are your snow days in jeopardy?
Well, for a group of students in rural western Ohio, that won’t be the case. They’ll be hittin’ the books, but they’ll do so electronically. That’s right: Buh-bye snow days, hello online learning.
The Mississinawa Valley School District in Darke County, Ohio, made the decision to test out this new program when their number of allotted snow days a year was cut from five to three, the Associated Press reports. If they go over, they’ll be addin’ days to the end of the official school year, and nobody wants that, right?
But we’re betting that when flurries are on the forecast, these Ohio students will be longing for their winter reprieve rather than signing on to yet another day of studenthood.
Would you trade your snow days for an on-time summer break? Blog about it, babes!
