It's Take Your Daughter to Work Day!


Each year, more than 3 million workplaces open their doors to tweens ‘n’ teens for Take Your Daughters (and Sons) to Work Day. Last year, 35 million kids and adults took part in the program. Will you be joining them today?

 

Sure, it’s fab to have an excused day off from school, even if you get roped in to reorganizing Dad’s file cabinet at the office. What many companies are starting to do, however, is to create a day-long program to teach kids about their biz. The purpose? To excite the future generations about their own roles in the workplace, whether they get into the family business or strike out on their own path.

 

This year’s theme is “Invent the Future.” It’s all about creating an original concept that’ll transform the bland into the brilliant. Got a fab new idea? Give it a voice!
