School cancels coolest after school program ever after parents complain

Here's a test: Would you rather sign up for an after school program called "Exploratory Reading" or "Zombie Apocalypse Survival"? If you're siding with the undead, you're in the majority--and that's the whole point, argue proponents of the class, which (successfully, so far) has encouraged students to read and write critically in response to zombie-themed material.

Parents of students in the class at an Oregon middle school, however, were concerned about the violence inherent in the subject matter, and demanded that the school district restructure it...and give it a new title, the thrill-a-minute "Exploratory Reading" we mentioned earlier. According to The Huffington Post, this change has prompted outcry from some geekier outlets, who have dubbed the revised reading class a lesson in becoming zombie food.
Sure, sure, laugh all you want, be we kinda like the idea of an out-of-the-box class using crazy themes to get students engages in the material and the lessons. What other themes do you think would work in this situation, and what kind of after school programs would YOU want to sign up for?
