But if you were scheming on transforming Max into the most stylish pooch on the block, don’t get your hopes up. We’re betting this is a viral marketing campaign is a hoax.

Case in point: the Hot Dog!, Fur-Ever Favorite and other paw-somely named outfits on the American Beagle Outfitter’s site send you to the human-fied version of the dog’s duds. 

Not that we’re picking a bone with the retailer. It’s all for a good cause. For a short time, $1 of each purchase at American Eagle will go towards the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We’ll shop to that!
