Feel Good Friday: Goodbye grumpy cat, hello concerned kitten!
Meet Gary (a.k.a "Concerned Kitten"), the newest internet obsession. Soon to be the subject of memes everywhere, this 8-week-old kitten from Bolton, England was born with slanted eyebrow-shaped marks above his eyes, making him look very, very concerned 24/7.
His owners Andy and Caroline Entwistle told the Bolton News that they named the kitten after Gary Barlow, of the U.K. boy band Take That, because human Gary's eyebrows move all over the place when he is singing.
The Entwistles thought he was so cute that the world deserved to see him, so they snapped a few pics and shared them with a local news outlet. That's when the concerned kitty really came into the spotlight.
He might look a bit anxious, but don’t think Gary is carrying the worries of the world on his back—according to his owners, Gary lives a very stress-free life. The little guy spends most of his time sleeping, playing and doing normal cat things—like biting his mom’s tail.
