#DearNonNatives: Native Americans are speaking out
In a hashtag that's been trending since last Thursday, Native American individuals are taking the opportunity to let their voices be heard, correct misconceptions and bring attention to Native American communities as a whole.
Through their own words, they're explaining what phrases, questions and actions can be rude, downright violent or simply appropriative to use.
