Groove to Oh Land
We’ve got a new artist in our sights, and she’s already been named the “artist to watch.” Oh Land, a ballet dancer, singer and producer, will be releasing her self-titled 11-track album next Tuesday, March 15.
We got a sneak peak at her new stuff, and it’s definitely not all that pop music you’re hearing on the radio.
Think La Roux crossed with Adele. While there are some aspects of techno in her songs, there is also a strong taste of mellow and natural sounds.
If you’re ever in the mood to relax, this is what you want to tune into. The soft bongo beat of “White Nights” is just what you’ll need before a big test when you’re trying to ease your mind. And Oh Land’s first single “Sun of a Gun” is def a song to nod your head with.
