Must List

Our 5 fave movie presidents

Happy President’s Day! And there is no better way to celebrate the time off from school with a super fun movie.

That’s where this list comes in handy. Yeah, you could read boring biographies of past presidents to celebrate, but come on, who really wants to do that? Instead, opt for one of these wonderfully funny flicks.

Night at the Museum 1 and 2

Robin Williams plays a statue of President Teddy Roosevelt that comes to life at night in these hilarious movies. Teddy falls in love with an Indian woman and he tries to get her to notice him. With tons of great actors and a strange storyline, these films are super funny. Robin as president is definitely a must watch.

Chasing Liberty

One of Mandy Moore’s best movies (but then again, they’re all so good) and it has to do partly with actor Mark Harmon’s fictional president, James Foster. He is a good president, but a VERY overprotective dad. He crosses so many lines in order to do what he thinks he has to do to keep his daughter, Mandy Moore’s character Anna, safe. Such a good movie. Go. Watch. It. Now.

First Kid

Luke is a 13-year-old boy who happens to be the son of President Davenport. His best friends are in the secret service—except for one mean agent who Luke had fired. Yeah, we hated him too! But it’s OK because Luke soon gets a new agent, Sam Simms, who is funny, sweet, strong and sooo much fun.

Head of State

Chris Rock plays a crazy, fun, super funny presidential candidate in this movie. They chose him to run as president as a joke, but he’s taking it seriously…well, kinda. Average people can relate to him, so that’s what makes him a good runner. He uses his wit and humor to win the people over, and it won us over as well!

My Date with the President’s Daughter

It’s election year and that means President Richmond is crazy stressed. It also means he doesn’t want his daughter, Hallie, out of his sight! Being a teenage girl, Hallie wants nothing more than to go out and have fun, maybe go on a date with a cute boy. That’s where Duncan comes in. He is totally dorky, but really cute. He asks Hallie out and when they go on their date, everything that can go wrong, does.

What’s your fave president movie? Who is you’re fave president? Blog about it, babes.
