Our favorite Hunger Games goodies

As awesome as Katniss is, many of us wouldn’t want to be in her situation. But with all the products out surrounding The Hunger Games’ release you can at least pretend to be her (minus the fighting and all that stuff). Our fave THG extras will help you celebrate the mayhem well after opening weekend.

Always wanted to know what training for THG would be like? You may not be entering the arena anytime soon, but this board game gives you a chance to compete as if you are a tribute. May the odds be ever in your favor for this one!

Just as Katniss inspires Panem citizens in THG, the series has inspired fans to create their own accessories. These cell phone charms are dedicated to Rue, the young tribute from District 11 whom Katniss befriends. Etsy, which features homemade crafts, is full of THG goodies–shop around for something unique that you can’t find in a store!

Food: the districts don’t have enough of it and the Capitol has it in excess, which is just one reason why Katniss hates the Capitol. If you’ve ever wanted to know what Hunger Games food tastes like (Greasy Sae’s soup aside), then this cookbook is for you! From Kat’s favorite lamb stew to Peeta’s bread, those starving for more THG craze will surely be satisfied.

Yeah, The Hunger Games is about a battle to the death in an arena, but for some readers, the more important “battle” is between Gale and Peeta for Katniss’s heart. Even if ya can’t have them in real life, you can show which guy you would choose with Gale and Peeta T-shirts. The boy with the bread or the boy who can hunt? Um, can we choose both?!

We love China Glaze’s nail polish, and we love it even more now because of Capitol Colours, a collection of nail polishes inspired by each district! With 12 to choose from, it’s hard to pick one, but Luxe and Lush (which represents District 1, luxury goods) is a great flake polish that you can wear alone or on top of other colors.

Will you be snatching up any of these Hunger Games treats? Have you seen the movie yet? Blog about it, babes.
