TV horror moms we're glad aren't ours

With TV shows come perfectly nice, amazing characters. But that’s because they are scripted. And face it, they aren’t always so perfect! Some of the mother’s on TV are not very, well, motherly.

Mother’s Day is sneaking up quickly and it’s time to be thankful for our own wonderful moms! If you need another reason to thank your mom (besides the billion and one things she does for you!), thank her for not being like these…

Mrs. Vega (Tori and Trina’s mom) from Victorious

While this mama is super cheery and seems sweet, she also seems to be missing from the picture a lot. Often the girls are found in the house without their mom. Plus, when the girls have a problem, their mom never really seems to want to help, especially when Tori has to deal with a Trina problem. Super rude!

Sheila (Kelly Parker’s mom) from Make It Or Break It

Talk about a controlling, manipulative mother! Finally KP put her mom in her place, which is far away from KP, but it took way too long. Sheila doesn’t want the best for her daughter. She just wants to take advantage of her! She cares more about herself than anyone else.

Mrs. Ross (Emma, Luke, Ravi, and Zuri’s Mom) from Jessie

These kids have everything that money can buy, but they need more. Their mom, Mrs. Ross, is out being a celebrity and making money, but she needs to spend more time with her kids. Sure, she isn’t rude to them or anything, but she’s not there for them when they need her. Not how a mother should be.

Mrs. Benson (Freddie’s mom) from iCarly

It’s always said that there is no such thing as too much love, but we think that Mrs. Benson comes pretty darn close. She loves Freddie so much that she never leaves him alone. She treats him like a baby, embarrasses him all the time, and doesn’t let him do a lot of things. Just thank your mom that she lets you dress yourself and, um, lets you shower yourself!

Who do you think is the worst mom on TV? What are you planning on doing to thank your mom for being awesome this Mother’s Day? Blog about it, babes.
