Glad They Came

The UK boy band The Wanted announced this week that after their Word of Mouth Tour wraps up, so will the band. In a statement, the boys said that they, “collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavors.” The Wanted’s biggest hits include “Glad You Came” and “All Time Low” and, even though they’re calling it quits, we’re glad they came into our lives as briefly as it might seem. Let’s hope another famous British boy band doesn’t decide to do the same. 

Mmm Yeah

Austin Mahone announced to fans on Twitter this week that his new single “Mmm Yeah” will be available to pre-order on iTunes. Not only are we super excited about Austin releasing new tunes, but this one is actually a collab with Mr. Worldwide himself: Pitbull! We know that this new track will be an instant dance-pop hit. Do you agree?

Nine-Year-Old Lets it Go

A video of a nine-year-old girl singing the hit song “Let It Go” from Frozen went viral this week. Annelise Forbes has no vocal training but loves to sing and makes a Christmas CD for her family every year. Not only is she totally adorable, but her voice will most definitely blow you away. Call up Ellen DeGeneres, we think we’ve found her next booked guest.

Hair Care?

This week, Ariana Grande took to Instagram to speak out about her hair and stand up to all of those haters who are sick of her rocking the same curly pony. Ari has been sporting the same ’do for years and has finally explained why. “I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair,” she wrote. Now, Ari sports a wig while on Sam & Cat and is giving her hair some time to heal. And because her hair is so damaged, she currently has extensions that she wears in a ponytail because her hair is, “so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd,” when she lets it loose. We think that no matter what her hair looks like, Ariana looks great!

Country star Carrie Underwood revealed this week that she is the newest face of the makeup company Almay. We totally love Carrie’s natural beauty and we are super excited for her! Now it’s time to update our beauty bag with the latest Almay stash.
