Must List

The song from Sabrina's EVOLution you *can't* miss

One of our fave gals from Girl Meets World, Sabrina Carpenter, just released her brand new album, EVOLution. At 17 years old, Sab is for sure dominating all things in entertainment, and we've had an amazing time watching her grow into the phenomenal artist she is today.

What we love about EVOLution is that it embraces its meaning and purpose—change. With each track, we get to hear how Sabrina's voice has grown since the release of Eyes Wide Open last year. She's left her original folk-pop sound behind for electronic beats and moody vocals reminiscent of Melanie Martinez and Selena Gomez.

One song that we highly recommend? "Space." This hidden gem is definitely one of our favorites on the album. Check out the track below and become as obsessed with it as we are!

It’s not just captivating because of all of Sabrina's rockin' registers and instrumentals. The lyrics make us feel like we're just chatting with a long-time bestie, these lines especially:

“I'm hiding from my shadows, running inside my dreams
I know that you are watching, you're right there watching me
I need a taste of freedom, I need some room to breathe
But I know that you are watching, you're right there watching me
So give me a little, give me a little, a little more space"

We all have those days where we just need a break from everything and everyone—some alone time, you know? Whether it's space from school, friends, bae or home life, it’s okay to have time to yourself. Take Sabrina’s words to heart and remember to take 5 whenever you need to.

Can’t get enough of this star? Pick up EVOLution on iTunes or stream it on Spotify. Oh, and lucky for you, Sabrina's EVOLution Tour *just* kicked off last night so you can catch her performing live all autumn long. Check out the cities she's hitting below:
