Why we *love* Willa from Freeform's Beyond

Freeform's newest supernatural show, Beyond, is a winter must-watch.

If you haven't already tuned into the show, allow us to introduce you to Holden. When we meet him, the 20-something is struggling to come to terms with who he is after waking from a 12-year coma. We soon learn, though, that his time spent unconscious may not have been comatose after all. This is all according to Willa, the ultra-mysterious woman who seems to have all the answers that Holden needs.

So while Holden is attempting to return to life "as usual," intelligent Willa will not rest until she's helped him discover exactly what went on during those 12 years—and a *lot* went on. Willa is brave, self assured and so much more—here are three reasons why we absolutely adore her.

She's incredibly supportive

Willa shows Holden some tough love, always has his best interest in mind and never fails to lend a helping hand. Like when she sits at his bedside (or tubside) as he recalls painful memories—even though Holden doesn't yet realize that these *are* memories.

She's wise beyond her years

Willa gracefully navigates every situation she or Holden is in, looking at it from every analytical angle. She knows how Holden can control his otherworldly outbursts, and begins to do so by helping him remember what happened in his coma. It may be tough to do and a even traumatizing for Holden, but she stands firm because she knows that in the long run, this is what they need to do to succeed. Basically, this leading lady is a total genius, but also *totally* humble.

She stays calm and collected

No matter how crazy Holden's life gets (see above!), Willa's problem-solving approach is anything but. She knows how to be heard without raising her voice, and brings much-needed peace to Holden's life. While he freaks over news about his condition, Willa stays totally cool as a cucumber as she shows him the ropes. Also, the girl does yoga. It doesn't get much more chill than that.
