Must List

New music alert: You *need* to hear these 5 female artists!

With a new year comes *tons* of new music and jam-packed playlists. Looking to support some fab female artists in 2018? Good news: these five talented gals are ready to rock.

Chelsea Cutler
We first introduced you to Chelsea Cutler last year after we fell in *love* with her feature on ayokay’s “The Shine.” Recently, she teamed up with American indie-pop artist Quinn XCII for some epic collabs, including the beautifully heartbreaking “Giving Up Ground” and catchy “Flare Guns.” Needless to say, we’re obsessed. Did we also mention they will be on tour together starting next month? Don’t miss them in a city near you!

Gabbie Hanna
Our girl Gabbie Hanna—better known as The Gabbie Show on YouTube—was one of 2017’s biggest breakout stars. Her debut single “Out Loud” was *breathtaking* and has amassed over 10 million streams since its release. She slayed us again with her follow-up single “Satellite,” a track that will make you want to sway in your seat. In case you missed her recent videos, Gabbie has more music to share in 2018 and we can’t wait!

Sigrid
There’s no killing 21-year-old singer-songwriter Sigrid’s vibe. She released her debut major label single “Don’t Kill My Vibe” last year and caught the world’s attention with her unique, refreshing and über-confident persona. Entering 2018, she’s getting ready to share more new music and tour the world. Not sold on her talent? She just picked up the BBC Music Sound of 2018 award, joining the ranks of Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith and HAIM. That’s what we call #therealdeal.

Jessie Reyez
R&B hitmaker Jessie Reyez emerged in 2016 with her debut single “Figures,” a gut-wrenching song about heartbreak and wishing your ex could understand your pain. Stars like JoJo and Calvin Harris showed their support online while *the* Meghan Trainor gushed about Jessie on her Snapchat. Her latest release, “Cotton Candy,” is based on the same heartbreak and begs for the lover to stay. We’re excited to see what Jessie has in store for 2018!

Ashe
Ashe is the girl power artist we’ve all been waiting for. She’s outspoken about causes like #TimesUp and mental health awareness and sings about loving yourself and living on your own terms. Catch her on tour with Lauv starting Jan. 23 and look out for her debut EP early this year.
