NASA wants to see your moon-inspired beauty looks

Calling all space gals: NASA is searching for the best lunar beauty looks—and they want *you* to submit your cutest creations!

In case you haven't heard, NASA is about to launch a rocket to the moon. It's the first stage in the agency's mission to return humans to the lunar surface. The Artemis I test will pave the way for some amazing new astronauts on future missions, including the first woman and person of color to step foot on the moon. While the original launch was delayed earlier this week due to technical difficulties, NASA is looking at another attempt as soon as this Friday, Sept. 2.

To build hype for this huge milestone, NASA wants to see your moon-related beauty looks (think: galaxy nail art, moondust-inspired eyeshadow...the sky's not even the limit!). Their fave photo submissions will be featured on NASA's official social media channels—and maybe even during the launch broadcast!

@theplanekate rocks a moon-themed mani: Orange for the Space Launch System's core, white for the rocket boosters and blue for the sky at liftoff and ocean at splashdown.

All you have to do is snap a pic of your space-worthy work and post it on your personal Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or Reddit with the hashtag #NASAMoonSnap in the caption. (Check out all the deets HERE!) Then, get excited for liftoff!
