EXCLUSIVE! The Villains of Valley View stars Isabella Pappas and Kayden Muller-Janssen took us behind the scenes of season two

June 15 marked the second season premiere of Disney's The Villains of Valley View. If you aren't familiar with this supervillain-centered sitcom (or its star-studded cast), allow us to give you a quick rundown.

Following the misadventures of a family of on-the-run villains, TVoVV brings old-school Disney comedy back to center stage. At its heart is the story of Amy Madden (aka Havoc) as she adjusts to life on the down-low. But as Amy embraces her alias and befriends next-door-neighbor Hartley, the two girls find they have way more in common than they ever expected.

Just like their on-screen personas, Isabella Pappas (Amy/Havoc) and Kayden Muller-Janssen (Hartley) have a super friendship of their own—minus the powers, ofc. We chatted with Isabella and Kayden to get the full scoop on season two, plus what it's really  like to do an *iconic* Disney Channel wand ID.

Girls' Life: Congrats on the new season! What can fans look forward to in season two?

Isabella: A lot of craziness, a lot of cliff-hangers, a lot of action—oh, and comedy. Pure, old-fashioned sit-com comedy.
Kayden: And new characters!
Isabella: Yes, new characters.

Girls' Life: How would you say that you're similar to—or different from—the characters that you play?

Isabella: I would say that I'm similar to Amy...I mean, in some ways we're similar. I'm definitely not as confident and in-your-face as Amy is. I'm trying to learn from her to speak my mind and stand up for myself. Kayden and I always say that I'm more of a Hartley, and she's more of an Amy. Maybe not as extreme, but the real-life versions.
Kayden: Hartley reminds me so much of my younger self. I was very bubbly, outgoing. Our one difference is that I never let people bully me or be mean. I always stand up for myself, and I'll always stand up for others. When it comes to Hartley, she doesn't always realize when people might be using her. That's definitely a difference we have.

Girls' Life: And, we have to ask: How fun was it filming your Disney wand IDs?

Kayden: A dream come true. I'll always say that. Like, growing up and watching Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Zendaya and Raven do their wand IDs...it was just crazy.
Isabella: Oh, yeah. It was crazy to see what the wand actually looks like in real life—it's not what I thought it would look like, I don't know why. But it was amazing. And we all came in with our own ideas about what we wanted to do—like, Kayden, you did a baton thing, right?
Kayden: *laughs* Yeah.
Isabella: And I did Havoc's scream thing. They let us do what we wanted to do and have creativity with it.
