BOOKS
You Wrote It
Read "Practically One," a poem by a GL reader
You and I
Are practically one.
I know you
Like the back of my hand.
You know me
Better than I know myself.
You and I
Are practically one.
I felt like
I had found my missing half.
You felt like
Your world flipped upside down.
You and I
Are practically one.
I never knew
I was quite so incomplete.
You never knew
Anyone existed quite like me.
You and I
Are practically one.
I met you
By a chance of fate.
You saw me
And couldn't look away.
You and I
Are practically one.
My soul said
“I am home.”
Your soul replied
“I will never let you go.”
