Have fun, you two! 5 great spring dates

Ahh, spring is in the air, and it’s time to let love blossom…OK, too cheesy.  But seriously, warmer days equal more ways to have fun with the fella in your life.  We’ve got a few sweet spring outings for you and your guy, whether he’s a brand-new crush or a long-time BF. Have fun!
Go for a bike ride. Biking is not only great exercise, but also a fun, not too lovey-dovey way to spend time with your guy. Scope out the bike trails in your area, or just go for a ride around the neighborhood.  Feelin’ adventurous? Try rollerblading or skateboarding. Just don’t forget the safety gear, kay?
Have a picnic in the park. The standard dinner-and-a-movie date is awesome, but between tickets, drinks and dessert, it can add up fast. Now that the sun’s out, take advantage of a way chill (and way cheap) date opportunity. Pack up some fuss-free food like sandwiches, grapes, lemonade, grab a blanket and head out to the park. A laid back way to just chat with your BF.
Connect at the observatory. Stargazing is uber-romantic, but between city lights and the ‘rents’ rules, it’s not always a possibility. Instead, head to the local observatory to look at the constellations. It’ll be way unique, totally parent-approved—and, dare we say it, maybe even educational!

Have a scavenger hunt. A perf group date for your whole crew. Come up with a list of crazy things to search for, then pair off by couples to locate many of the items as possible in the time limit. Take a camera to document your finds. Then swap stories and see who found the most after noshing on some grub. Think The Amazing Race but way more doable.
Go mini-golfing. Looking for a first date idea? Mini-golf is the way to go. It’s silly and active, so you’ll natch have something to talk about if convo is slow. Want seconds? Make it a competition for the next go-around. Loser treats winner to ice cream. Too sweet!
