My BF doesn't want a Christmas gift from me. How can I get him to give me one?

 

I have a boyfriend. I asked him what does he want from me for Christmas since it is coming up. He answered in kind of a rude way saying no. That's fine with me if he doesn't want me to buy him anything for Christmas. But I want him to buy me something from me for Christmas because all my other friends are bragging about how their boyfriends are buying them something for Christmas. How do I hint to my boyfriend that I want a gift from him for Christmas? Help please??!!

Hey girl! It’s tough when your BF has such different holiday traditions than you. But there is a way to work through it. Just talk to him! Straight up ask him if he’s planning on getting you a prezzie. If he’s hesitant, ask him why. Then explain why the gift exchange tradition is important to you.

But if he doesn’t want to get or give a gift, compromise. Go out to an upscale restaurant, see a play together or plan a fun-filled winter date. Sure, it might not come in a box that you can flash around to your friends. But the snow angel or ice skating memory you two share is way more precious.
