7 things to do other than waiting for him to text back

Imagine this: you’ve been texting to a super sweet (and cute!) guy. Everything is going great and it really feels like you’re hitting it off. It’s like he’s the *perfect* guy, but all of a sudden, he stops responding. Sound like a familiar sitch? We've been there too.

You look through all the texts between the both of you to see if you might have said something to weird or offensive, but find nothing. He just vanished and you’re trying to figure out if he’ll ever text you back.

Newsflash: You're too good to sit around, staring at your phone, waiting for someone to make time to send a simple response. Here are seven things list better than waiting for him to text back!

1. Hang out with your BFFs

Who has time to worry about a text back when you have your girls around to make you laugh?

2. Plan out your Instagram aesthetic

If you’re hoping to work in social media some day, take some time to perfect your Instagram aesthetic.

3. Read a book

You’ll be too busy to look at your phone when you’re five chapters into an epic thriller!

4. Get in the Halloween mood with a spooky movie

Don’t try to take your eyes off the screen to see if he finally responded. If you do, you’ll miss finding out if your faves defeat the Sanderson sisters!

5. Try out an epic Pinterest recipe

If you’re anything like us in the kitchen, chances are it won’t turn out exactly like the picture, but it’ll be tons of fun trying to recreate it!

6. Give yourself a DIY at-home facial

There are some awesome recipes for soothing face masks out there. Maybe you can even find a recipe to make a scrub that’ll do away all your thoughts about your vanishing guy.

7. Make a moodboard

Get your creative juices flowing and make a moodboard to hang in your room. In case you know what a moodboard is, it’s a board filled with everything that inspires you. You can fill it with whatever you like, just make sure it lifts you up!

8. Just do you

No matter what you do, just make sure you're making yourself happy. 'Cause at the end of the day communicating with yourself—not some boy who won't give you the time of day—is what matters the most.

By the time you finish your relaxing day, you’re sure to have forgotten about the fact that a guy never responded to you.
