Summer’s the season for scorching temps and equally hot guys, natch. But how do you chat it up with that cutie and not come off like a nail-biting, nervous wreck? Don’t sweat it! We’ve got the easy-breezy tips to approach that eye-candy while still looking totally cool.

If you see a cutie on the sand playing beach volleyball, ask if you can join him and his friends. Don’t forget to bring your spiking and flirting A-game.

Nothing grabs a guy’s attention like mouth-watering summer foods. Invite him to a BBQ or weekend bash with your crew.

Ask your crush to come with you to a pool party. This is the literal definition of fun in the sun, and the group setting relieves the stress of an individual date. Whew!

 

Dog days of summer

Walk your pooches together. You and your doggie need exercise, so why not multitask and flirt at the same time? And, seriously, what guy doesn’t love dogs?

 

Get stuck in his head

Have him spill about his newly discovered band-of-the-moment and suggest trading playlists. Be sure to add a catchy tune that can’t stop replaying in his mind.

 

The go-to place

The mall is hands-down the best spot to run into the guy who's running through your mind. If you catch your crush in one of your fave stores, compliment his outfit and slick summer style.

 

How sweet it is

See if your cutie wants to walk or bike with you to the local ice cream shop to get a cool treat. Sprinkle on the sweetness and offer a bite of your scoop.
