8 cinchy ways to make your school supplies way cute

Having the same notebook as the girl who sits next to you in chem? Not cool. Stand out with glam school supplies that are totally unique. Here are a few of our tried ‘n’ true designs, with a few new faves.

Snag some ol’ fabric and cut it to fit a notebook then glue it down. Be sure to cut the edges a bit larger than needed so you can fold them over the side and attach.

Tie ribbons around the spirals on a spiral notebook, a pencil or the zippers on a zipper binder. Put beads on ribbons for an extra bold style.

Grab a few old magazines and cut out pics of your fave celebs, stylin’ outfits or fun phrases. Collage them on your binders and notebooks.

Put some sequins, studs or rhinestones on the spine and the edges of your binders for a dazzlin’ new look.

Take scrapbook paper and make cute labels for your notebooks so you always know which one to grab before ya go to class.

Get chalkboard paint and apply it to a composition book, so throughout the school year you always have a place to doodle and get cute messages from your friends.

Use pics you took over the summer of your camp friends, vacation spots or pets and match them up with some scrapbook paper. Slide them into a plastic binder sleeve and voila!

Pick up some fabric markers, buttons and key chains to jazz up a drab backpack.
